It beze trajik news, so ifn you don't wunts to read da rest, please don't...weze gots kinda caterwauled at fur postin sad stuff, but weze tink dat wur part of da reason why Sekhmet wunted owt, to look fur herown momcat, culdn't find her and camed back. Dad knew dis info fur da last two weeks. Mom thot dat mebbe da feral momcat, whom she named Belinda after da TNR (trap-neuter/spay-release) mighta found a new place to git food, cuz it had been several months since mom last seed her, but dat wurnt da case at all. Mom found owt frum a neybor dat da mean guy who usta lif in back of us, dat beated his wife when he wur home, took a gun and sent Belinda to da Bridge several months ago. He wur after Sheba, his wife's cat, which is why his wife gave mom Sheba, cuz she told mom she hadded a bad feeling da next time he camed home frum his truckdriving dat he wuld do sumpin terribul. So, in his retaliation, he took his anger owt on anudder poor creature. Anyhows, Belinda's babies, Sekhmett and anz siblings, are safe anz in goot homes now, but mom feels so awful dat she culdn't save her frum dat bad hooman.
Da neybor who told mom dis told her dat he knew she twyed furry hard to help anz at least now, dat poor cat isn't suffering owtside anymores in awl weather extremes and doesnt have to scrounge anz fite fur food anymores, plus her babies are safe in goot homes. Mom said, "Yeah." anz walked away back intew herown howse.
